Director of Human Resources 

Melony Porada serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, bringing a wealth of experience in managing human capital within a faith- based organization.

Melony possesses 28 years of dedicated experience in the Human Resources field, specializing in environments where mission and care are paramount.  This extensive background was primarily gained in faith-based LTC facilities, providing a deep understanding of organizational needs related to staffing, employee relations, compliance, and fostering a supportive, values-driven workplace culture.

In this role, Melony oversees all HR functions for the Diocese, including talent acquisition, benefits, employee development, and policy management across its many parishes, schools, and ministries.

Melony is dedicated to supporting the Diocese’s mission by promoting a positive and productive work environment for all employees and clergy.
